Terms of Service

Using the Service means you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity under your account. Tell us at hello@subzar.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Subzar helps you record and review recurring subscriptions, highlights ones you may no longer use, estimates what they cost you, and links you to the provider's own cancellation or plan-change page. Subzar is an informational tool. It is not financial, legal, or tax advice.

Subscriptions can be added manually or created from a finding you confirm. Usage and “needs review” flags are based on the information you provide, such as when you last used a service.

Connecting Gmail is optional and requires your explicit authorization on Google's consent screen. Subzar requests read-only Gmail access and your Google email address, and uses that access only to identify messages that may represent subscriptions, renewals, trials, price changes, or billing receipts. Subzar cannot and does not send, modify, or delete your email. You may disconnect at any time in Settings → Connected accounts. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is stored.

Detections are suggestions. Subzar presents them for your review and never adds a subscription automatically. You are responsible for checking the service name, amount, currency, billing cycle, and dates before confirming a finding, and for correcting anything that is wrong.

Automated detection is imperfect. Subzar may miss subscriptions, misread amounts or dates, or surface something that is not a subscription. Amounts, savings figures, and renewal dates shown in the app are estimates based on available information.

Where a cancellation page is known, Subzar links you to the provider's own page and can record the outcome you report. Subzar does not cancel anything on your behalf and cannot guarantee that a third-party subscription has been cancelled unless the provider itself confirms the cancellation to you. Always verify with the provider and with your payment method.

The Service links to and integrates with third parties (for example Google and the providers whose cancellation pages we link to). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, policies, or actions. Your use of Google services remains subject to Google's own terms.

Subzar currently does not charge for access and no payment processor is connected. Selecting a plan in the app activates access without any payment being taken, and no card details are collected or stored.

If and when paid plans are introduced, pricing, renewal, trial-conversion, cancellation and refund terms will be presented before any charge is taken, and these Terms will be updated accordingly.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Access, or attempt to access, another user's account or data
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service
• Connect an email account you are not authorized to access
• Submit false, fraudulent, or infringing information

The Subzar name, logo, interface, and software are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You keep ownership of the content you enter; you grant us only the permission needed to store and process it to operate the Service for you.

We may add, change, suspend, or remove features, and the Service may be unavailable during maintenance or incidents. We aim to give notice of significant changes but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that detections are complete or accurate, that a suggested downgrade exists, or that a linked third-party page will work as expected.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for missed cancellations, continued third-party charges, or reliance on information shown in the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create security or legal risk. You may stop using the Service at any time.

To delete your account and associated personal data, email hello@subzar.com from your account address with the subject “Delete my account”. Disconnecting Gmail in Settings removes the Gmail connection and pending findings without deleting your account.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email before they take effect, and continued use afterwards means you accept the updated Terms.
