Subzar Support

Help with your account, the Gmail connection, billing, and privacy requests.

hello@subzar.com

We reply to every message. Typical response time is within 1–2 business days, and within 3 business days at the latest. Privacy and data-deletion requests are handled within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

Gmail connection help

Connecting Gmail is optional. Subzar requests read-only Gmail access and your Google email address, and uses them only to find messages that look like subscriptions, renewals, trials, price changes, or billing receipts. Subzar can never send, modify, or delete your email, and nothing is added to your dashboard until you review and confirm it.

To connect:

  1. Sign in and open the app.
  2. During onboarding choose Connect Gmail, or open Settings → Connected accounts at any time.
  3. Approve the Google consent screen for the Gmail address you want to scan.
  4. You are returned to Subzar. Press Scan Gmail to start a scan, then review the findings and confirm the ones that are real subscriptions.

If something goes wrong:

  • Nothing happens when you tap connect — allow pop-ups for subzar.com, or try again; on mobile Subzar automatically uses a full-page redirect instead of a pop-up.
  • Google shows an access warning — the Gmail connection is still completing Google's verification review, so it is limited to approved accounts for now. Email us and we'll tell you when it opens up.
  • A scan finds nothing — Subzar looks at roughly the last 180 days of mail. Receipts in another mailbox won't be found; you can always add those subscriptions manually.
  • A finding is wrong — edit it before confirming, or dismiss it. Dismissing creates nothing.

Disconnect Gmail

  1. Open Subzar and go to Settings.
  2. Open Connected accounts.
  3. Press Disconnect next to your Gmail address.

Disconnecting revokes Subzar's Google authorization, deletes the stored encrypted connection reference, and deletes your pending Gmail findings. Subscriptions you already confirmed stay, because they are your own records. You can also revoke access directly from your Google account permissions page.

Delete your account and data

  1. Open Settings → Danger zone and choose Delete account, then confirm.
  2. Or email hello@subzar.com from your account address with the subject “Delete my account”.

Deletion cancels any active paid plan, disconnects and revokes Gmail, and permanently removes your login, profile, subscriptions, savings history, connected-inbox records, findings, notification preferences and entitlements. All Google user data is removed immediately. We keep only an irreversible SHA-256 hash of your user ID and email for payment-dispute and abuse defence, and that record is permanently deleted 24 months later. Deletion cannot be undone.

Billing help

Manage or cancel your plan from Settings → Plan & billing, which opens our payment provider's secure billing portal. For charge questions, email us with the date and amount and we'll look into it.
